Stompernet is a “University” of sorts for Internet Marketing. It was founded by Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins, who originally delivered a course called “Stomping the Search Engines” three or four years ago (which incidentally was my first “real” education in SEO). Prior to this Andy had written a book called “Yahoo Store Profits” (which is the reason I started my first eCommerce store a few years back), which is still the defacto tutorial for starting an eCommerce store with Yahoo’s solution. Brad is a well known SEO, who founded SEO Research and also is the host of SEO Radio; who purchased Yahoo Store Profits and started a very successful eCommerce store called MyWeddingFavors.com (and Kate Aspen), which was the reason they created the “Stomping the Search Engines” in the first place.

Stompernet grew out of this, and initially was offered as a “Stomper coaching program” (after the launch of Stomping the Search Engines) for people wanting to start a successful eCommerce store OR needed help with a current store. I think the program was $25,000.00 then…
Since Andy and Brad are known as the SEO and eCommerce “masters”; and had success with their coaching program (I think they offered the coaching program twice); they decided to make the program available to the “masses” (at least 1000 people). So they launched Stompernet last year as a virtual coaching program (DVDs and Live Seminars) to help people get an eCommerce store started from the ground up and teach them SEO and Conversion tactics along the way.
